Manual Configuration

To configure URI Secure manually on OS X 10.4-6, follow these steps; 10.7 does not support manual configuration directly. 10.7 users, however, may run a .mobileconfig file generated with the iPhone configuration utility.

  1. Open Network Preferences. (Click the AirPort icon and select it from the drop down)
  2. Select URI_Secure for Network Name and click Advanced at the bottom.
  3. Click the 802.1X tab.
  4. Click the plus sign in the bottom left and select Add User Profile. Name it whatever you like.
  5. Enter your URI Credentials, select URI_Secure for Wireless Network.
  6. Make sure TTLS is the only option checked off. Select it and click Configure
  7. For TTLS Inner Authentication, select PAP. For Outer Identity, enter your eCampus username or leave it blank (it’s optional).
