Automatic configuration is available for Recent versions of Ubuntu (9.04+).
Most current Linux distributions use Network Manger to manage network connections. These distributions include Sabayon, Ubuntu (and Ubuntu-based distributions), Fedora, etc. Though XpressConnect will only run on Ubuntu, Network Manager can easily be configured to access URI_Secure.
Manually configuring wpa_supplicant should work for all distributions, even where Network Manager fails. The process is fairly simple, but requires some experience working with a Linux shell.
